Wraysbury Road Safety Victory

Tuesday 23rd February 2016 saw a victory for Wraysbury.

Petition granted at our Borough Council meeting for safety work to be implemented at Wraysbury railway station bridge.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead  (RBWM) council meeting of Borough councillors & other departments also the Mayor heard the petition from Wraysbury residents (over 2000 signatures) for safety work to be implemented this financial year.

Thank you all for your support with the petition and also the strong commitment to get this proposal completed when we met residents whilst canvassing around the villages, I would also like to say again thank you to all the Club’s, Pubs, Shops & Health centre that allowed us to leave petition forms of which you all promoted and a huge thanks to our great volunteers, Duncan, Martyn, Karyn, Bernie, Nick, Phil, Andy, Roger, Stewart and finally a really special thanks to Rose for organising our photo’s & Nicky who typed our briefing notes, bullet points & speeches, you’ve all been superb, now the final push at 7pm this evening at Maidenhead town hall, if you can make it please come and show your support, many thanks Graham and Henry.
