Learners in Nacro Bracknell receive support around getting into work

I really appreciate the generosity of my friends; kindly giving their time to the students at Nacro.

This month Liz Jewer, the HR Director at TMP Worldwide, a resourcing company, visited learners in our Bracknell centre to give them advice about getting into work.

Liz gave the learners a presentation which covered what employers expect, how to carry out a job search, CV writing and interview tips. The young people then took it in turns to have an individual mock competency based interview with Liz and she gave each of them feedback.

Getting young people ready for work is an important part of what we do at Nacro so this was a great opportunity for them. As well as gaining knowledge and developing new skills the session gave young people more confidence about attending interviews.

A great example of quality Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
